Cutelery is designed to help toddlers and preschool-aged children foster independence and develop excitement for self-feeding. Our specialty silverware is ergonomically designed for smaller hands to use, and is consistent with Dr. Maria Montessori's approach to learning.
Cutelery was developed by a Montessori mom with a toddler. Frustrated with the lack of high quality flatware choices that were developmentally appropriate for toddler and pre-school aged children, our Founder, Sharmin Ashtaputre, set out to develop her own. Through five rounds of prototyping over nine months, we have a product we are proud to share with the world. We continually tested and fine-tuned our products with our persnickety customers and their parents and received advice from Montesssori-trained guides.
